A Note From The Founder
Dear woman who
loves her saree

the wardrobe.
I wore my first office saree on the day of my most important presentation. My manager looked at me and said — "You look very traditional today."
I got the promotion anyway.
But that comment stayed with me. Not because it hurt — but because it was so fundamentally wrong. There is nothing traditional about a woman who knows exactly who she is and exactly what she is capable of. The saree was not a statement of where I came from. It was a statement of where I was going.
S for Saree was not built in a boardroom or a design studio. It was built in hundreds of conversations with women like you — women who love the saree, who feel most like themselves in it, but who had nobody making it work for their professional lives.
